The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning, stocking, and maintaining guest rooms. This is an on-site, full-time position offering full training for entry-level candidates with no prior experience required.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll receive a list of assigned rooms and prioritize your work based on guest checkout times. Your day will include:
- Checking and restocking cleaning supplies as needed
- Safely entering guest rooms and returning at another time if occupied
- Removing soiled linens and replacing them with fresh ones
- Making beds and stocking towels and washcloths
- Wiping surfaces, cleaning mirrors, and disinfecting bathrooms
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Performing final walkthroughs to ensure rooms meet standards
- Notifying supervisors of room availability, needed maintenance, or any concerns
- Handling lost and found items appropriately
- Treating all guests with courtesy and aiming to exceed their expectations
- Performing other duties as assigned

Physical requirements:

This role involves regular talking and listening with guests and team members.
Work environment:
You’ll work in a hotel setting. This is a full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education and experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. No prior housekeeping experience necessary—full training will be provided.
