The Housekeeping Assistant provides cleaning services to maintain a sanitary and comfortable environment for guests and visitors. Full training will be provided – no prior experience required.

Responsibilities
Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
Respects guests’ privacy and preferences about room arrangement and personal items. Knocks before entering rooms and bathrooms.
Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and floors according to department procedures and cleaning schedules.
Takes appropriate actions to secure housekeeping supplies and ensure they remain out of reach of guests at all times.
Disposes of trash and waste in accordance with facility policies and procedures, following all safety and health guidelines.
Posts signs indicating safety hazards when housekeeping activities pose environmental risks to guests, staff, visitors or others in the facility.
Assists with laundry as needed.
Skills/background needed:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. No prior housekeeping experience necessary – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training for all team members. Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
