Job Summary:
As a Housekeeper, you’ll perform essential cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. This is a full-time, entry-level position with on-site training provided. No prior experience is necessary.
What You’ll Do:
Your daily responsibilities will include:
• Clean and maintain assigned areas following health and safety standards
• Change linens and make beds
• Dust and clean all surfaces, including furniture, mirrors, windows, baseboards, and door frames
• Empty and replace trash bags
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including tubs, sinks, toilets, and floors
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility
• Vacuum carpeted areas, including under and behind furniture
• Restock room supplies such as soaps, shampoos, towels, and toiletries
• Perform laundry duties as assigned
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to your supervisor
• Work safely and follow all health and safety procedures
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience required. You should have:
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• Friendly customer service attitude
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform repetitive movements
• Comfort working in varying temperatures and wet environments
• Reliable transportation to the workplace
Physical Requirements:
This role requires physical presence on-site. You’ll be on your feet throughout the day, frequently bending, lifting, and reaching. Regular movement between different areas is essential. You’ll work with cleaning chemicals and equipment, and may work in hot, damp, or wet conditions.
