Duties
• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
• Handle floor care responsibilities including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning using appropriate equipment
• Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
• Assist with laundry duties including washing linens and towels to support overall sanitation efforts
Skills/background needed
No prior housekeeping experience is necessary. We provide full training on all cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures. You should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple cleaning tasks efficiently. A willingness to maintain high standards of cleanliness and a commitment to guest satisfaction are essential. Physical fitness for the demands of the role is important, as you will be on your feet throughout your shift.
