About This Role:
We’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented people to join our housekeeping team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll clean and maintain guest rooms to the highest standard, ensuring every guest has a comfortable stay. No prior experience is necessary—we’ll provide full training and support as you settle into the role.
What You’ll Do:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Receive your assigned rooms and prioritise your cleaning schedule
• Check your cleaning cart and restock supplies as needed
• Knock and announce yourself before entering rooms; respect guest privacy
• Remove soiled linens and replace with fresh ones
• Make beds neatly and stock towels and toiletries according to standard procedures
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and any kitchenette areas
• Wipe surfaces, clean mirrors, and vacuum floors
• Check and restock complimentary supplies like coffee and toiletries
• Inspect rooms to ensure they meet quality standards before marking them ready
• Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate team
• Handle laundry as needed, including loading washers and dryers and folding linens
• Manage lost and found items appropriately
• Support other duties as requested by your supervisor
Skills and Background Needed:
• Attention to detail and commitment to thorough cleaning
• Ability to be discreet and respect guest privacy
• Friendly and pleasant manner when interacting with guests
• Basic English (reading, writing, and speaking) to identify product labels and communicate with guests and colleagues
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move around the facility, and lift objects as needed
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment for safety
