Supervisor: Head of Housekeeping
Purpose of Position: As a Housekeeping Aide, you’ll be responsible for keeping guest rooms and public areas consistently clean and organized. You’ll maintain high standards of cleanliness and help create a welcoming environment where guests feel confident in the quality of their surroundings. This is a great entry-level role where you’ll develop practical skills in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
What You’ll Do:
• Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and deliver excellent service to guests and team members• Clean and stock all assigned guest rooms, including changing linens, replacing supplies, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and removing used items• Polish furniture, straighten furnishings, clean appliances, and perform related cleaning tasks• Greet guests you encounter throughout the property in a friendly manner• Keep your supervisor informed of room status and any issues that need attention• Follow all health, safety, and sanitary guidelines in your work• Complete training in security, health and safety, and proper handling of cleaning chemicals• Keep your workspace, storage areas, and housekeeping cart organized and well-stocked• Work systematically following established cleaning procedures and processes• Report any damage to furniture, walls, carpet, or appliances to management• Participate in team meetings and communicate openly with your housekeeping team• Assist with seasonal and deep cleaning tasks as assigned• Help train new staff members as you gain experience• Support a positive and enjoyable work environment• Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. We provide full training. You should be detail-oriented, reliable, and take pride in your work. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are what matter most. You’ll need to be comfortable with physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting.
Contract length: Full Time, Permanent
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
