What to expect
Room Cleaning: Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and dusting and vacuuming. Ensure all room amenities are neatly arranged.
Public Areas: Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, and common spaces, keeping them tidy and inviting.
Supplies Management: Keep cleaning supplies and amenities well-stocked and request replenishments when needed.
Report Issues: Let the appropriate team know about any maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms or public areas.
Lost and Found: Handle lost and found items according to workplace procedures.
Laundry Duties: Assist with washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
Guest Requests: Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for extra towels, toiletries, or other amenities.
Privacy and Security: Respect guest privacy and maintain security by properly handling keys and following workplace security protocols.
Quality Standards: Ensure rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and maintenance standards with close attention to detail.
Skills and qualities we’re looking for
Strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work.
Physical stamina to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and repetitive motions. You’ll be lifting and carrying items up to 35 lbs regularly.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to adapt to a variety of tasks and be flexible with changing priorities.
Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
Experience and background
Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred but not required. No experience necessary – we provide full training.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and products is helpful, but we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
