The Opportunity:
A Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and exterior areas. You’ll follow established policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure the property meets health and safety requirements.
This role requires good communication skills, the ability to work through challenges, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest care. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for all guests and team members.
What You’ll Do:
• Complete in-room checklists for each assigned room
• Clean guest rooms, public spaces, exterior areas, and back-of-house spaces daily
• Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities
• Report maintenance concerns and safety issues to supervisors
• Assist with special projects including deep cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Maintain storage areas and supply levels
• Communicate room status and updates across all departments
• Ensure all areas meet safety and cleanliness standards
• Support team members and create a positive work environment
• Perform additional tasks as needed to support daily operations
Skills/background needed:
• No prior experience required – full training provided
• Ability to read, write, and understand workplace communication
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties (standing, bending, lifting)
• Open availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
