Position Purpose and Summary
The Housekeeping Associate position is responsible for cleaning guest rooms to a high standard and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. You will work as part of a dedicated team committed to providing excellent service.
Major Job Duties
Clean assigned guest rooms according to established standards and procedures. Maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to company standards. Stock carts and rooms as directed by management. Report any maintenance issues or lost guest items to the front desk or manager immediately. Assist guests with reasonable requests whenever practical. Follow all safety and security policies. Complete all required training programmes.
Additional Responsibilities
You may be asked to help clean other areas of the hotel, including break rooms, guest laundry facilities, fitness areas, common areas, and stairwells. You will be responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness throughout the property. Other duties may be assigned by the management team as needed.

Skills/background needed:
No prior experience or training necessary. You should be able to understand and follow instructions and guidelines. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently are important. You must be comfortable using good judgment and meeting productivity standards.
Physical Requirements
This role requires you to remain on your feet for extended periods, move around the property regularly, and handle cleaning equipment and supplies. You will need to reach, bend, kneel, and crouch to access different areas. Occasionally, you may push or pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. You may work near cleaning chemicals and in wet or humid conditions. Exposure to varying noise levels is typical. The role may occasionally involve travel to other locations within the local area.
