We’re looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spaces and enjoys providing great service. As a Houseperson, you’ll play a key role in keeping the facility clean, organized, and safe for guests and staff. No prior experience is necessary—we provide full training and support to help you succeed in this role.
What you’ll be doing:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Keep hallways, corridors, and common areas clean and organized
• Dust baseboards, pictures, and other surfaces in guest areas daily
• Clean and maintain elevator landings, stairwells, and ice machine rooms
• Remove guest trays and empty linens and garbage on a regular basis
• Ensure guest room doors and other surfaces are free of marks and damage
• Stock linen and supply closets to proper levels
• Move furniture when requested
• Help with guest requests and support the wider team
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff
• Work with focus and urgency in a fast-paced setting
• Complete other tasks as assigned by your manager
Skills/background needed:
• A genuine desire to help others and deliver good service
• Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull regularly (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances
• Comfortable bending, stooping, and climbing as needed
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm, think clearly, and solve problems
• Can follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple duties at once
• Open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working in shared spaces with background noise
• Able to adapt to changing priorities with a positive, professional attitude
Work environment:
This is an on-site position based at the workplace. You’ll work in a shared environment with regular activity and noise. The role involves standing and moving throughout your shift (typically up to 8 hours per day), and you’ll need to be comfortable in a fast-paced setting where priorities may change frequently.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
