Roles:
As a Houseperson, your primary duties will include:
• Remove and collect soiled linens from rooms and deposit them in the laundry chute or designated area
• Remove and collect trash from rooms and dispose of it according to established procedures
• Collect and empty trash from receptacles located throughout the hotel and outside areas
• Inspect and clean guest common areas throughout the hotel
• Assist laundry and room attendants with job duties as assigned
• Sweep and mop emergency stairwells and landings, and clean railings and exit doors
• Vacuum inside corridors as needed or when assigned
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible full-time and part-time positions available.
Skills/background needed:
• No prior housekeeping experience required – full training provided
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Ability to read and understand written instructions and memos
• Ability to work well with different personalities and handle various situations calmly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly
• Available to work weekends
