Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed-making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by executing routine cleaning tasks.
Handle cleaning products safely by following proper safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others.
Use cleaning tools such as vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and other equipment to care for various floor surfaces.
Assist with moving furniture or supplies while adhering to safe manual handling practices.
Follow workplace emergency procedures to respond effectively in case of incidents or safety concerns.
Maintain records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or sanitation concerns to management.
Skills/background needed
No prior housekeeping experience is required. Full training will be provided on all cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures. You should be reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical tasks including vacuuming, mopping, and lifting. Basic customer service skills and the ability to follow instructions are important. You must be available for day shifts and able to work on-site at the workplace.
