As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and common areas. This is an on-site position perfect for someone looking to start their career in hospitality with no prior experience required.
What You’ll Do:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Sorting, counting, folding, and carrying linens.
Cleaning guest rooms according to established standards, including bathrooms and kitchens where applicable.
Making beds, emptying waste bins, cleaning ashtrays, and moving furniture as needed.
Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
Dusting furniture and hanging drapes.
Replenishing guest supplies such as glasses, writing materials, bathroom items, and fresh linens.
Deep cleaning assigned areas including rugs, upholstered furniture, draperies, walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and door panels.
Transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areas.
Replacing light bulbs.
Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Skills/background needed:
No prior experience is required. We provide full training on all cleaning procedures and standards. You should be able to:
Identify and resolve problems quickly and calmly.
Handle guest requests and concerns with professionalism and respect.
Follow safety, security, and company policies carefully.
Communicate clearly with your team.
