Overview:As a Room Attendant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms. You’ll refresh rooms for guests who are continuing their stay and thoroughly clean rooms after checkout in preparation for the next arrival. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces.
Responsibilities:Thoroughly clean guest rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting. Restock and replace used items within guest rooms. Remove room service trays and tables. Stock supply carts and keep them neat and well organized. Check equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good working order. Communicate room status upon completion. Maintain a professional appearance and contribute to a safe working and guest environment. Respond to any safety situations as needed. Attend all required department trainings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills/background needed:Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and perform frequent bending, reaching, and squatting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed during busy periods. Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor under pressure. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Good personal hygiene and professional appearance. English language communication skills (verbal and written).
